"I am God"

I wrote this in February at a training retreat for Nicaragua. I had completely forgotten about it..I really don't even remember much about when I wrote it. I was very surprised when I came across it a couple nights ago and thought, "God's super cool!!!" and so I had the urge to post it...

I am God and i am perfect. I am not limited by your fear, your doubt, or your inadequacy...I am still God. I am the maker of every good and perfect thing...I am your maker. I have loved you with an everlasting love...I am everlasting, and I am love. I know you get frustrated, I know you get confused, I know you often don't get it...but I am God. You wanna change the world? Change your attitude. You wanna do great things? Do great things for small people. You wanna be great? Realize that your not...realize that your weak and unable...but realize that my grace is sufficient for you...realize that I am God!

The world, the pain, the hunger, you think I don't know? You think I don't know about oppression and injustice? Do you think that I don't care? I care...I am God! I am their Heavenly Father....I am your Heavenly Father. I made the world...I got it under control. You don't have to understad injustice and suffering..and you should definately be against it, but you also need to undertand that I am God andnothing is too big for me.

Trust me..just trust me! If I want to use you in a massive way...I will, and if I don't I don't. Your task is o love me, as best as you know how...and to trust me. I will always be with you and I will equip you to do whatever it is that I want...I am God. I'M NOT PROMISING YOUSAFETY OR PERFECTION, OR COMPLETE HAPPINESS OR WEALTH I PROMISE YOU ME, AND I'VE PROMISED YOU PERFECT ETERNITY WITH ME. IT'S GONNA BE OKAY...I AM GOD!
